She was predeceased by: her parents, Garnet Elizabeth Burner (Hudkins) and Arley Russell Burner; and her husband Dewey. She is survived by: her children, Ann Wright (Jim) of Philippi, Amy Williams (Dan) of Ravenswood, WV, Bill and Kim Poe of Hurricane, WV; her grandchildren, Jamie, David Green of Philippi, Dr. Keith, Jenny, Kyle Hickman, Mickayla Selembo of Lansing, Kenley, Skyler Hickman of Ravenswood, WV, Emily Poe of Huntington, WV and Issac Poe of Hurricane, WV; her great grandchildren, Lukas and Lincoln Hickman of Williamstown, WV.; her sister Jacky Sue; and her brother-in-law Charlie Malcolm of Philippi. She is also survived by 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great -grandsons.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (220 N Walnut St, Philippi, WV 26416). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that memorial contributions be made to Crim United Methodist Church 78 Pike Street Philippi, WV 26416.
