She was predeceased by: her mother Esther Mullens Witzel; her husband Leo John Fleckenstein; and her stepfather Basil Thompson. She is survived by: her sons, James (Jaquelyn), Leo (Stephanie), Charles (Angela), David (Laura) and Kurt (Susan); and her sisters, Clara Sue Canterbury (Ted) and Carolyn Clemmitt (Paul). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Huntington, WV.
