She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Easterwood and Gladys Oxley Murphy; her husband James Morris Freeman, I; her son James Morris Freeman, II; her son-in-law Dennis Patterson; and her sisters, Norma Sue Irving and Margaret "Peggy" May.

She is survived by: her daughters, Charalee Fliehman (Rodney) and Angela Gail Patterson; and her daughter-in-law Merri Beth Freeman. She is also survived by seven loving grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
