She was predeceased by: her parents, Naman Pyles and Marie Stephens Hatten; her daughter Tina Adkins; and her sisters, Kathy Ramey and Bonnie Belcher.
She is survived by: her children, Alfred "Curtis" Moore (W. Va) of Lavalette, Priscilla Merritt of Huntington, Patricia Shadd of Genoa and W. Va; her grandchildren, Trista Jarrell (Justin), Sarah Shadd of Dunlow, W. Va and J. T. McCoy (Isabella Ferguson); her great grandchildren, Alivia Jarrell and Caleb Jarrell; and her siblings, Doug Pyles (Diane) of Florida, Annalee Belcher (Jack) of Ohio and Debbie Harolyn of Ohio.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson Tiller Funeral Home (10030 WV-152, Wayne, WV 25570). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
