He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Jackson Kennedy and Dessie Dora Kennedy (Lemley); his wife Alberta L. Kennedy (Moore); his siblings, Everett, Truman, Herbert Kennedy and Hazel Kent; his son-in-law Julian "Tiny" Cheslock; and his grandchildren, Tharron and Jill Earl.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy (Frank Martinelli), Sharon Cheslock of Laurel Point, Carol (Robert Copeland), Kim (Jerry Tennant) and Kandy (Randy Earl). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
