He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Gerry" Tennant Varner; and his siblings, Derle Ray Varner of Jakes Run, Ruby Ellen Hemmer of Jakes Run, Ethel Varner of Rivesville and Ralph Varner of Jakes Run.
