She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Red" Bess; her siblings, Charles Hanson and Georgia Estep (Hanson); and her parents, Lester Hanson and Myrtle Hanson (Kenney).
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Coleman (Bess) and David Bess (Nina); her brother Douglas Hanson (Elena); her grandchildren, Jessica Manley (Katie), Amy Bess, Terry Coleman and David Coleman; her great grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Donovan, Cameron and Autumn; and her friend Jean Hundley.
Due to Covid and her illness she was not able to attend church these past two years, but she remained faithful to God and her Church.
