He was predeceased by: his parents, Cramer Otho Shamblin and Ersie Postlewait Shamblin; his daughter Lisa Joanne Shamblin; and his sisters, Emmalou Dietenbeck, Marlene Norman and Jean Bash.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Conner Shamblin of Horner; his daughters, Kimberly Shamblin Dodd (Rick) of Horner and Jodi Shamblin Heater (Chuck) of Kannapolis, NC; his grandchildren, Brant Phillip Heater (Mallory Milstead) of Fayetteville, NC, Lisa Joanne Darby (Andrew) of Weston, Jillian Beverly (Taylor) of Kannapolis, NC and Haley Biller (Scott Heater) of Weston; his great grandchildren, Andi Jo Darby, Hank James Darby, Jax Beverly and Ava Beverly; and his niece Diana Posey (Gary) of Pricetown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Weston and mailed to 132 2nd St., Weston, WV 26452.
