He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ray and Thelma McWhorter (Linger); and his former wife Gelene McWhorter. He is survived by: his children, Charlene Brannon (Dan), Michael McWhorter (Michaela) and Ralph McWhorter (Barbara); his sister Betty Ray Loyd; his wife Kelly; and his stepdaughter Harmony. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
