He was predeceased by: his parent Lawrence D. Higginbotham; and his wife Gaye Higginbotham. He is survived by: his parent Avalee Mallet Higginbotham; his children, Tammy Matthews (Randy) of Charleston and Donald Russell Higginbotham (Sherri) of Culloden; his siblings, Rheba Jividen (Richard) of Robertsburg and Lawrence Higginbotham (Nancy) of Ohio; and his grandchildren, Lily Caroline Higginbotham and Ty Emerson Higginbotham.
