She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernestine Conley and Willie Conley; her husband John R. Samuels; and her grandmother Nancy Jude. She is survived by: her daughters, Rena Springer (Eric) and Karen Jordan (Jason); her grandson Carter Jordan; her great-nephews, Elijah and Noah; her sister Patty Lockhart; her brother-in-law Ray Lockhart; her niece Erica Lockhart Robinson (Jake); and her brothers, Denny and Donny Jude. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and dear friends.
