She was predeceased by: her parents, Easter Newsome Day and Claude Bryant George Sr.; and her brothers, Hobert Day Sr. (Deloris) and Billy Ray George. She is survived by: her husband William Carter; her sons, William Joe Carter (Angie) and Matthew Carter (Jodi); her grandchildren, BJ Carter (Charity), Vivian Short (Seth), Savannah Hall (Michael), Ethan Carter and Olivia Carter; her great grandchildren, Audrey Short, Evelyn Hall, Aiden Carter, Blaine Carter and Jaxtyn Carter; her siblings, Belvia Blankenship (Donald), Brenda Sue George, Clyde Akers (Kay) of Holden, Linda Evans (Leslie) of Logan and Donetta Allen Jr. (Roosevelt) of Logan; and her sister-in-law Ida Walls (Roger).
