Bernice Sellards Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Sellards (Holden, West Virginia), who passed away on August 11, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Dee Mullins and Bertha Curry Mullins; her husbands, Sponcil C. Elkins and Bennie T. Sellards; her daughters, Judith Arlene Elkins and Veda Rose Elkins Bias; her grandchildren, Angela Renee Bias Reaves and Tom Christopher Bias; and her sisters, Treasie Spry, Vivian Robinson, Katie Cease and Nancy Hyde.

She is survived by: her siblings, C. D. Mullins of Darien, IL and Nona Southers of Holden, WV; her daughters, Claudia L. Ellis of Whitman, WV and Rebecca Rhodes (Kirby) of Whitman, WV; her son-in-law Tom Bias, Jr. of Supply, NC; her grandchildren, Todd Bailey (Allison) of Round Rock, TX, Jen Wade (Jake) of Auburn, AL, Ben Bias (Kristy) of Southport, NC, Kyle Bias (Angela) of Shallotte, NC, Roy and Rusty Rhodes of Whitman, WV; her grandson-in-law Cory Reaves of Supply, NC; her great grandchildren, Adam Bias, Sarah, Katie Reaves, Joseph Bias, Jacob Bias (Kristen), Jessica Turner (Travis), Tomi Bias, Kayla, Brandon Pelton, Joy, Josi Green, Bailey, Maverick, Jenna, Harper Wade, Coby Bias, Haley and Haiden Bias; her great great grandchildren, Aubree Bias, Joseph, Alyssa Bias, Brynlee Voitelle, Jase and Jaynee Turner; her cousin Doris Riddle of Mud Fork, WV; her friend Juanita Crum of Camden; and her stepchildren, Pam Grose (David) of St. Petersburg, FL, Terry Sellards (Susie) of Whitman, WV, Patty Brown of Oak Hill, WV and Bennie Thomas Sellards (Brenda) of St. Petersburg, FL. She is also survived by friends.
