He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Houston and Ruby Scott Cyrus; his brothers, Edward L. Cyrus, William K. Cyrus and Emmett B. Cyrus Sr.; and his grandson Michael Chistian Aldini.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Cyrus Shafaye (AB) of Pennsylvania, Doris Cyrus Aldini (Mario) of Texas and Michael Warren Cyrus (Navy); his brother Jennings R. Cyrus of Brooks, WV; and his nieces, Sandra Angell, Helen Eastman and Sheri Eerenberg. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren.
