With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Venora Smith of Hinton, West Virginia, who passed away on August 25, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobert J. Crook and Dorothy Ernestine Moss Crook; her husband Clarence Edward Smith; and her brothers, Jackie Crook, Paul Crook and Johnny Crook.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Meadows (Tommy Dunn) of Peterstown, Anna M. Sampson (David Michael McKinney) of Cool Ridge, Raymond Smith (Savannah Boone) of Forest Hill and Dorothy R. Meador of Hinton; and her siblings, Sam Crook, Dallas Crook, Kenny Crook, Roy Crook, Ernestine "Teenie" Bremer, Janice Shrader, Brenda H. Trent, Mary Wright, Linda Ratliff and Edith Cook. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
