He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Bennett and Margaret Adkins Bennett; his siblings, Everette Bennett, William Bennett, James Robert Bennett, Drema Martin, Lovottia Graham and Beatrice Bennett; and his close friend Regina Greene.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Jane Tabor (Eric); his grandchildren, Dustin and Madison; and his brother Meridith Bennett (Frieda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
