He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Ayers and Lillie Cox Ayers; and his daughter Patricia Lynn Grimmett. He is survived by: his wife Della Ayers; his son Wayne Ayers (Lisa Ayers); his granddaughters, Tammy Cannon (Robby Cannon) and Crystal Berry (Eric Richmond); his great grandchildren, Savannah McCoy, Danielle, Abby Wingrove and Haley Lynn Ayers; and his friend Lisa Rose.
