She was predeceased by: her parents, Oswald Adkins and Bertha Martin Adkins; her children, Wilma Angell, Russell "Shorty" Bennett, Debbie Grimmett, Bobby Bennett and Gary Keaton; and her grandson Russell Lee "Dink" Bennett.
She is survived by: her daughter Connie Ward (Timmy); her grandchildren, T. J., C. J. Ward, B. J. Angell, Shannon Angell, Mary Ellen Bennett and Amber Yancy; her great grandchildren, Casper, Mitch Bennett, Lisa, Michelle Bennett, Jeanette Grimmett and Lexi Anderson; her caregiver Stacy Pitzer; and her canine Odie. She is also survived by several great great grandchildren; one special cousin.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel (130 Temple St, Hinton, WV 25951). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations of sympathy be made to the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors toward funeral expenses.
