He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin M. Sr. Bragg and Mary Bennett Bragg; his son Ronnie Lee Ward; and his sisters, Diane Pitzer and Marie Tincher.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda O'Meara; his son Rob O'Meara (Andrea) of Hilldale; his grandchildren, Taylor, Gracie and Riley; and his siblings, Kathleen Adkins (Jackie) of Tug Creek and Daniel Bragg (Wanda) of Tug Creek. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
