It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie Ford of Hinton, West Virginia, born in Jumping Branch, West Virginia, who passed away on September 27, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James McLaughlin and Emma Dobbins McLaughlin; and her siblings, James McLaughlin, Mary Yancey and Millie Meadows.
She is survived by: her husband James "Bootie" Ford; her children, Rodney Ford (Lyn) of Hilldale, Richard Ford (Robin) of Forest Hill and Robin McNeer (Steve) of Greenville; her half-brother Pat McLaughlin (Carol) of Beaver; and her grandchildren, Amy Hashley (Mike), John Ford (Stacey), Tucker Ford (Courtney), Tara Jones (Eric) and Reed McNeer. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Due to COVID19, a private funeral service will be held on Friday October 1, 2021 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Baptist Church of Hinton, WV.
