Adkins and Wanda Ellen Wheeler Adkins; his grandparents, Myrl Wheeler, Erie and Irene Adkins; his sons, Brycen of Ballard, WV, Preston of Ballard, WV and Hunter of Ballard, WV; his brother Christopher Vincent Adkins (Leighette) of Lincolnton, NC; his grandmother Lois Wheeler of Hix; and his pet Ricco. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
