He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold E. Gill and Rosie V. Adkins Gill; his former wife Evelyn Young; his wife Georgie Mae Carr; his son Jamie Gill; and his siblings, Eugene Adkins, Arnold E. Gill Jr., Van T. Gill, Billy R. Gill, Janice Ruth Fox and Donna Kay Gill.
He is survived by: his children, Vicky Thompson (Timothy) of Camp Creek and Timothy W. Gill of Hinton; his grandchildren, Jessica, Brandy and Joseph; his siblings, Bernice Hartwell of Hinton, Bonnie McGuire of Hinton, Sherry White (Timmy) of Hinton, Dottie Gray (Curtis) of Hinton, Wanda Fargo (Dale) and Johnny Gill (Tammy) of Asbury; and his cousins, Melba Jean Buckland and Carol Wills. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
