He was predeceased by: his former wife Joyce Carte Mock; his brother-in-law Mark Woodrum; and his stepson Nick Harris. He is survived by: his wife Faye Mock; his children, Donald F. Mock III (Juli) of Charleston, WV and Mollie Mock Kaufman (Craig) of Morgantown, WV; his granddaughters, Haydon, Harper Mock and Roe Kaufman; his sister Sandra Yost (Lance) of Pt; his stepchildren, Todd Harris (Stephanie) of Adairsville, GA, Candice of Nashville, TN and Christa Harris of Nashville, TN; and his stepgrandchildren, Hannah, Blake, Alexandria, Christopher Harris and Madelyn Wright. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Beech Run Baptist Church, 11045 Beech Run Rd. Hinton, WV 25951 or Hinton Area Foundation, 104 James St. Hinton, WV 25951.
