She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Preston Hazelwood and Lillie Mae Hazelwood; her husband Roy Morgan Nelson; her granddaughter Elizabeth Marie Arthur; and her siblings, Charlie Hazelwood, Clarence Hazelwood, Leona Blankenship, Viola Nelson, Deliah Burgess and Nancy Owens.
She is survived by: her daughter Betty Sue Burgess (David) of Hinton, WV; her grandchildren, Gene Mitchell (Heather) of Princeton and Rose Tinsley (Jeremy) of Princeton; her great grandchildren, Jonathan Clay, Nathan Clay, Orville Hill, III and Timothy Mitchell; and her stepgrandchildren, Jayden Hatfield, Nevaeh Hatfield and Rosalee Mitchell.
