With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elvin Roger Wynes (Hinton, West Virginia), who passed away on November 14, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wynes and Burl Bernice Chapman Wynes; and his daughter Bernice Tate. He is survived by: his daughter Joni Jackson; his grandchildren, Marquel Jackson, Shayla Jackson and Robert Tate; his great grandchild Olivia Jackson; his brothers, Richard Lynn Wynes, Michael Paul "Monkey" Wynes (Alana) and David Dewayne Wynes; his niece Michaela Wynes; and his nephew Matthew Hinton. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel (130 Temple St, Hinton, WV 25951). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
