He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Clarence Long and Willianna Hancock Long. He is survived by: his brother Frederick Daniel Long; and also, Robert-Victor Seiichi Long, Gertrude Kiyoko Hancock Lawrence (Long), Yuki, Midori and Yumi.
