He was predeceased by: his father Curtis E. Adkins, Sr.; his wife Sherry Adkins; his brothers, David Lee Terry and Criss F. Kellar; and his stepson Johnathan Cook.
He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Terry of Hinton; his daughters, Shana Marie Adkins of Hinton and Kendall Rose Brown of Hinton; his siblings, Roy L. Adkins of Hinton, Ronnie R. Adkins (Angie) of Hinton, Carletta Williams (James Alan) of Hinton, Teresa Kellar of Hinton, Mona Lisa Gill (Billy) of Hinton and Calvin Foster (Lynn) of Hinton; and his grandchildren, Chloe, Trinity and Grayson Lammon. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, aunts and cousins.
