We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2020, at the age of 84, Charles Scott Briers of Hinton, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles S. Briers, Sr. and Mary V. Long Briers; his wife Emily Keaton Briers; his sister Nancy Richmond; and his grandson Christopher N. Briers.
He is survived by: his children, Greg (Kelly) of Huntington, Jeff (Carolyn) of Oak Hill and Susan Boland (Mitch) of Shady Spring; his grandchildren, Grant, Delaney Briers, Sam Walters, Heather Shannon, Amy, Aaron Briers, Casey, Elyse and Allyson Boland; his great grandchildren, Sarah, Aiden, Natalie Walters, Ava Briers, Lyra Briers and Lehea Shannon; his brother Thomas B. Briers (Joyce) of Bonita Springs, FL; and his nieces and nephews, Jody Richmond (Angela), Mike Briers (Chandra), Rachel Bell (Ed), Karen Lind (David) and Ronnie Keaton (Lori).
