Barbara Elizabeth Grimmett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Elizabeth Grimmett of Hinton, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arleigh O. Cole and Edna Bennett Cole Bennett (Eldwin); her husband Milton Anthony "Tony" Grimmett; and her brother Warren Cole. She is survived by: her children, Alan Grimmett and Sara Fix (Randy); her great grandchildren, Kassi, Molly, Laci, Liam and Maddox; her siblings, Rosemary "Judy" Richards (Junior), Becky Reed and Jerry Cole (Melissa); and her sister-in-law Roberta Wheeler. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel (130 Temple St, Hinton, WV 25951). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central Baptist Church, the Summers Co. Animal Control and Welfare Project (ACWP), and Riverside Kitten Rescue.
