She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Shirley and Mildred Marie Cox Walker; her former husband Billy Ray Poole; her husband Charles Herbert Fortner; her grandson Brian Michael Poole; her great grandchild Amber Dellinger; and her siblings, Helen Parker and George Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Loren B. Cox (Anita), Michael R. Poole (Kiersta), Cheryl A. Pittman (Michael Moss), Dori L. Poole, Charles J. Poole and Vickie L. Cousens; and her siblings, Eunice Carol Totten, Diana Sue Walker and Alfred "Pete" Cox. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
