He is survived by: his wife Edna Rose Deavers Payne; his children, Carl Alan Payne of Little Bingamon, Kimberly "Kim" Legette (Tim) of Charleston, SC and Kathy "Kat" Headrick of Bridgeport; his grandchildren, Trista Haynes (John) of Charleston, SC, Krista Driggers (Darren) of Charleston, SC, Aaron Headrick of Bridgeport, Caitlynn Headrick of Bridgeport and Connor Headrick of Bridgeport; his great grandchildren, Rhett Haynes, Sullivan Driggers, Sawyer Driggers and Colton Haynes; his siblings, Kenneth Payne of Little Bingamon, Lloyd Payne of Ohio and Jane Palmer of Ohio; his siblings-in-law, Harold Deavers of Mannington, Joe Baldwin of Shinnston and Charlotte Payne of St. Louis; and his pet Romeo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
