It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Virginia Kellison of Hillsboro, West Virginia, who passed away on June 16, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hedrick McCoy and Minnie Vance Cochran McCoy; her husband Elbert Franklin "Bud" Kellison; her children, Elbert "Buddy" Kellison II and Patricia Nary; and her brothers, George Hedrick McCoy, Jr. and Edwin McCoy.

She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Rose (Thomas) of Murfreesboro; her sister Gladys McMillion of Pendleton Manor; her granddaughter Takayla Salazar (Darien) of Beckley; and her nephew Jimbo Kellison of Hillsboro.
