It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Loraine Jones of Hico, West Virginia, born in Rainelle, West Virginia, who passed away on September 23, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Marion Hanshew and Dorothy Olive Sevy Hanshew; her son Charles "Buck" Jones; and her siblings, Peggy Knight, Herma Johnson, Pauline Simms, Bud Hanshew, Steve Hanshew and Johnny Hanshew.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Nixon "Nick" Jones of Hico; her daughters, Judy Akers of Princeton, Sue White (Jim) of Hico and Sharon Spadaro (Ted) of Princeton; her siblings, Patty Spade of Rainelle, Hilbert Hanshew of Danese and Donald Hanshew of Radford, VA; her grandchildren, Cindy Beeson, Brian, Crystal, Carla, Beverly, Lisa and Allison; and her great grandchildren, Nora Tuck and Nancy Horrocks.
Everyone attending is asked to wear a facemask and maintain social distancing per COVID-19 guidelines.
