He was predeceased by: his parents, William Underwood and Gertrude Crist Underwood; his children, Beverly Underwood and Gregory Underwood; and his siblings, Alma Woodrum, Mary McClung, Pick Underwood, Mack Underwood, Sonny Underwood, Batman Underwood and Bobby "Taffy" Underwood.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Pierce Underwood; his children, Crystal Paull (Bill), Clinton Underwood and Michael Underwood, II (Mysty); his siblings, Mona Braughman, Otis Underwood (Trish) and Richard; and his friends, Tom Crews and Stewart Rigby. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
