Troy Russell Penix Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Troy Russell Penix of Hernshaw, West Virginia, who passed away on December 2, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloria Sue "Suzie" Barnhart and Fred Russell Penix; and his wife Connie Walker Penix. He is survived by: his children, Charity Bragg (Shawn Caudill) and Shawn Penix (Kendra); his grandchildren, Quincy Bragg and Addison Penix; his brother Edward Penix; his uncles, Gus Penix (Carleen), Larry Penix (Jane) and Clark "PeeWee" Dillon (Lou); his aunt Carolyn Miles; his stepmother Kathy Hager Penix; and his stepsiblings, Lesley Concannon (Barry) and Joseph Hager. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project or other Veterans' charities.
