It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella L Thomas (Herndon, West Virginia), who passed away on July 23, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy; her parents, Millard Adkins and Edna Adkins; and her siblings, Kenneth Adkins and Alice Kennedy.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Sammons (Darlene) of Welch, Ellie Shrewsbury (David) of Covel, Tina Lester (Conley) of Covel and Dave Thomas (Jeannie) of Princeton; and her grandchildren, Jessica Hodges (Joey), April Miller (Evan), Brittany Ferrall (James), Katie Sparks (George), Brian Shrewsbury, Andrea Evans (Nicholas), Rebecca Thomas (Joshua), Lanisha Lester, Charlie Thomas and Stephen Lester. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews; and her church family.
