It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Reed of Herndon, West Virginia, born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Reed and Christine Bodenheimer Reed; and his brothers, William Reed and Larry Reed. He is survived by: his close friend Teresa Sharp; his sons, Craig Reed (Shafali) of Princeton and Richard Reed of Oregon; his siblings, Wayne Reed (Eloise) of Princeton, Dale Reed (Robin) of Lashmeet, Hazel Jewell (Tim Ford) of Herndon, Carol Lusk (Eugene) of Princeton and Lula McKinney (Ricky) of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Preston Reed of Aiken, SC, Sasha Youboty (Yousif) of Houston, TX and Trent Pendleton of Richmond, VA; and his great grandchildren, Jenesis Youboty and Maya Reed.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bud Baptist Church (159 Valley Springs Rd, Mullens, WV 24726).
