With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Altha J Powell Talerico of Hepzibah, West Virginia, born in Spelter, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 6, 2024 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Powell and Lucille Swisher Powell; her husband Alex A. Talerico; her granddaughter Hailey Heise; her brother Donald Powell; and her son-in-law Tony Spatafore Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Saundra Spatafore of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, Matthew Spatafore (Jessica) of Bridgeport and Emily Heise (Caleb) of Bridgeport; her great grandchildren, Matteo Spatafore, Nico Spatafore, Addison Heise and James Heise; and her siblings, William Powell of Hepzibah and Linda Knight of Mineral Wells.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home (201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV 26301). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV 26301).
