Sidney Russell Maynard Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sidney Russell Maynard of Henlawson, West Virginia, born in Logan, West Virginia, who passed away on September 12, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Maynard and Maggie Maynard; his son Kevin Russell Maynard; his grandson Anthony Bernard Maynard (James William Ward); and his siblings, Donald Ellis, Douglas Maynard, Vivian Perry and Melissa Gail Mays.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi Blevins Maynard; his son Bernard (Jennifer Maynard); his grandchildren, Kevin Maynard (Amanda), Zachary Maynard (Madison), Sydney "Bella" Maynard and Michael Steven Ward (Angela); his son Michael (Savanah Maynard); his grandchildren, Michael Paul Maynard II (Kearston), Chloe Beth Maynard, Violet R. Maynard, Jeremy, Christopher, Eric Ray and Erica; his daughter Laura (Russell Woody); his grandchildren, Lora Evelyn Ward and Sheldon R. Woody; his great grandchildren, Lorenzo Z. Maynard, Malachi and Brooklynn Ward; his siblings, Bernard Maynard, Jr., Robert Gregory Maynard, Glenda Sue Bartram, Lena M. Adkins (Tommy) and Misty Adkins Thompson (Kenny); and his brother-in-law Richard Perry. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
