It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James June Carr of Hendricks, West Virginia, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Carr and Anna Margaret Mick Carr; his former wife Mildred Louise McDaniel Carr; his daughter Barbara Mackie; his son-in-law Jim Gatto; and his brother Neal Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Shaffer Carr; his children, Helen Carr Gatto of Hendricks, Beverly Carr Morgan (John) of Carlisle, PA, Sandy Carr Perks (Will) of Beaufort, SC, Jo Viragh (John) of Uniontown, PA and Donald Butler of Terra Alta; his grandchildren, Susie Kelly, Alyssa Bravo, Nick Viragh, Scott Mackie, JD Gatto, Jessica Clouse, Jennifer Morgan, Jacquelyn Putt and Joseph Perks; and his sisters, Bessie Wilmoth, Lula Friend (Terry) and Rita Oldaker (Roy).
