He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Nibert and Edith Thelma Nibert (Crawford); his daughter Earletta Kirker; and his granddaughter Amy Henry. He is survived by: his wife Judith C. Nibert (Harless) of Henderson; his daughters, Tammy Backenstoe (Scott), Lora Long (Rodney) of Bidwell, OH and Kristi Williams (Chuck) of Belle, WV; his brother Darrell E. Nibert (Geraldine) of St. Helen, MI.; and his grandchildren, Heather Henry, Travis Keefer (Sarah), Tara Eblin (Adam), Ryan Henry (Valerie) and Shayna Gillenwater. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
