With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Granville Douglas Mitchell of Henderson, West Virginia, born in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, who passed away on September 26, 2020 at the age of 66. He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas "Pete" Mitchell and Betty Jane Mitchell (Likens); and his brother-in-law William Bill Moore of Henderson. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sue Mitchell (Williamson); his son Doug; his daughter-in-law Summer Mitchell of Point Pleasant; his grandchildren, Brittany Brewer (Steven) of Point Pleasant and Levi Mitchell of Point Pleasant; his great grandchild Jayce Brewer; and his sisters, Carolyn Wamsley (Robert) of Gallipolis Ferry, Mary Jane Fisher (Charles) of Delaware, OH, Gail Chapman (Dusty) of Gallipolis Ferry and Shelia Moore of Henderson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
