She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hensley and Nora Grose Hensley; her husband Jessie "Dick" Smith; her daughter Nora Gay Davis; and her siblings, Charles Hensley Jr., George Hensley, Vaughn Hensley, Ken Hensley, Wayne Hensley, Opal Perry, Wanda Moore and Jenny Elmore.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Smith (Cora) of Cool Ridge, Sherry Lynn Patrick (Russell) of Helen, Eddie Hoge (Jessie) of Helen and Dale Brown of Alabama; her sister Bernice Distin of Maryland; her grandchildren, Lisa, Rusty, Erica, Jessica, Chrystal and Greg; her sister-in-law Peggy Hensley; and her niece Cindy Hensley of Cleveland, Ohio.
