She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Potter and Flossie Knight Potter; her husband James Paul Bowers; her children, Dianna Milam, James and Dwight Bowers; and her siblings, Carl Powell, Earl Potter, Betsy Potter, Virgie Murphy and Eula Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Bowers (Karen) of Helen, Gary Bowers (Margo) of Daniels and Geneva Cruey (Allen) of Helen; her brother Russell Potter of Helen; and her brother-in-law Doug Bowers (Katherine) of Fredericksburg, VA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
