It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Wells of Hedgesville, West Virginia, born in Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on March 24, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Wells and Rosella Mansker Wells; and his sister Glenda Wise. He is survived by: his wife Mary Wells; his daughters, Robin Wells LeTourneau (Glenn) and Theresa Wells Stifel (Robert); his grandchildren, Olivia, George, Melanie and Samantha; and his siblings, Fred, Jerry Wells and Maridel Ripley.

Because of covid-19 restrictions we are unable to gather together now but plan on having a party to celebrate him in the summer.

In lieu of flowers the family would like you to consider a donation in his honor to pulmonaryfibrosis.org or the American Lung Association.

“Bill Wells was my boss when I was hired in 1993 working under Bendix Field Engineering at the NASA site in Las Cruces, NM. Bill was always a gentleman. He was kind and caring and I felt so proud working as his secretary for several years. He seldom complained about his back that gave him much pain and he would have to rest in his office. It did take me awhile though to understand his Kentucky drawl. My sincere condolences and prayers to his family. (Gloria Taylor - Mesa, AZ)”
