He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl William Bucklew and Shirley Jean Mills Bucklew. He is survived by: his wife Janis Kees Bucklew; his children, Tyler Steven Bucklew, Steven Wayne Bucklew, Jr. and Heather Nichole Bucklew Dickinson (Ryan); his brother Carl William Bucklew, Jr.; his niece Shelley Little (Justin); and his nephew Billy Bucklew. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
He created the "Bucky Box" in 2019 and collected donations for 40+ families for a Thanksgiving meal and Christmas for 40+ families.
