It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Merton Norman Peitersen of Hedgesville, West Virginia, born in Graceville, Minnesota, who passed away on April 7, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manno Niels and Ellen Peitersen (Wilberg); his wife Mary Jane Harms; and his son Marc. He is survived by: his children, Mary Elizabeth Peitersen (Victor Charles Gearhart) and Matthew Niel Peitersen (Laura Elizabeth Peitersen); his grandchildren, Sean, Stephen, Rhiannon and Sierra; and his brother Daryl Lee Peitersen. He is also survived by friends as well as his church family.
