With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luther Murphy of Hedgesville, West Virginia, who passed away on November 25, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Murphy and Elsie Lee Corbin Murphy; his wife Mary Frances Foltz Murphy; and his siblings, William "Junior" Murphy, Clarence Roger Murphy, Juanita Ritter and Bessie Sine.

He is survived by: his children, David L. Murphy (Joni), Deborah J. Baker, Sandra K. Shriver, Patricia A. Nisewarner (Douglas), Diana L. Turley (Thomas), Karen F. Nisewarner (Chris) and Mary Lynn Clemons (Stanley Clemons, Jr.). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, FL. 17, Chicago, IL, 60601.
