He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Fields, Jr. and Minnie Pauline Bowman Fields; and his sister Judy A. Resh of Hagerstown, MD.. He is survived by: his wife Linda M. Andrews Fields; his sons, John "David" Fields (Donna), Jeffrey S. Fields (Kate) and Brian A. Fields (Rachel); his grandchildren, Jeanie L. Felty (Adam), Abigail G. Fields and Nathaniel J. Fields; his great grandchild Finley D. Felty; his brother-in-law Joseph W. Resh, Sr.; and his nephews, Joseph W. Resh, Jr. and Jerry L. Resh.
