He was predeceased by: his parents, Norval Ray Hyatt and Barbara Lee "Stuckey" Edwards; and his wife Susan. He is survived by: his stepfather James L. Edwards; his son James M. Hyatt; his stepchildren, Damian Caldwell, Evelyn Long and Tonya Hite; and his siblings, Jeff Hyatt, Robert "Duke" Edwards and Michelle Golden. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
